Warning / Threat Texts Misused by the Church of Almighty God

CAG regularly uses warning passages to instill fear of damnation, rejection by God, or irreversible loss of salvation. These texts are presented as immediate threats against anyone who questions or leaves the movement. In every case, Scripture is removed from its covenantal, pastoral, or eschatological context and repurposed as a control mechanism.

“For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins…”

CAG teaches that rejecting Almighty God’s present work constitutes deliberate sin after knowing the truth. Leaving CAG is equated with trampling Christ’s blood and guarantees terrifying judgment.

Hebrews warns against apostasy from Christ, not rejection of new revelation. The entire letter argues that Jesus’ sacrifice is final, sufficient, and irreplaceable. The “knowledge of the truth” refers to the gospel already received, not to future incarnations.
Ironically, CAG’s doctrine—that Christ’s sacrifice must be supplemented by later judgment—fits the warning better than traditional Christianity. The passage condemns abandoning Christ’s finished work, not questioning a modern movement.

Hebrews 9:12; Hebrews 9:26; Hebrews 7:24–25; John 10:28–29

Hebrews 10 warns against rejecting Christ, not rejecting CAG. Using it to threaten members is theological abuse.

2. Revelation 3:15–16 — “Because You Are Lukewarm…”

Doctrinal Summary

“Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of my mouth.”

CAG applies “lukewarmness” to anyone hesitant about Almighty God’s teachings. Doubt, caution, or delayed obedience is portrayed as spiritual death.

Jesus addresses a specific historical church (Laodicea) suffering from complacency and self-sufficiency. The passage calls for repentance and renewed devotion—not allegiance to new doctrine. The rebuke is pastoral, not a threat of instant damnation.
CAG strips the passage from its local context and uses it to suppress discernment.

Revelation 3:19–20; Hebrews 4:14–16; Romans 8:38–39; Philippians 3:12–14

Lukewarmness refers to spiritual apathy, not questioning a modern prophetess.

3. Matthew 25 — The Virgins, Talents, and Sheep & Goats

Doctrinal Summary

Watch Video

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (25:13)
“Before him will be gathered all the nations…” (25:32)

CAG teaches:

  • Wise virgins = those who accept Almighty God’s voice
  • Foolish virgins = those who cling to the Bible
  • Talents = acceptance of new revelation
  • Sheep = CAG members; goats = those who reject CAG

Thus, Matthew 25 becomes a warning that rejecting CAG leads to destruction.

Matthew 25 contains three teachings:

  1. Virgins — readiness for Christ’s return
  2. Talents — faithful stewardship
  3. Sheep & Goats — final judgment by Christ

None mention new revelation, repeated incarnations, or allegiance to a future figure. Judgment is exercised by Jesus Himself, based on faith evidenced by fruit—not by acceptance of a new message.

Matthew 24:42–44; Luke 19:11–27; John 5:22–29; Acts 17:31

Matthew 25 prepares believers for Christ’s return, not submission to a new movement.

4. Jude 3–4 — “The Faith Once for All Delivered””

Biblical Text (ESV)

Correct Meaning

Supportive Scripture

Doctrinal Summary

Watch Video

“…contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”

CAG claims contending for the faith means obeying Almighty God against traditional Christianity. Pastors and churches resisting CAG are labeled false teachers.

Jude explicitly teaches the finality of the faith. False teachers are those who add, distort, or undermine the gospel—not those who preserve it. Jude’s warning applies directly to movements introducing new revelation under the guise of progress.
Rather than supporting CAG, Jude condemns their method.

Galatians 1:6–9; Hebrews 1:1–2; 2 Peter 2; 1 John 4:1

Jude defends the completed faith. CAG’s appeal to this text inverts its meaning.

5. Revelation 20 — The Final Judgment

Doctrinal Summary

“And they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.”

CAG teaches believers are already undergoing judgment through Almighty God’s present words and must pass this process to avoid final condemnation.

Revelation 20 describes the future, universal, final judgment following resurrection. Judgment is carried out by God through Christ, based on the Book of Life—not through earthly allegiance to a religious movement.
Scripture never teaches a pre-salvation judgment process in the flesh.

John 5:22–27; Acts 17:31; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Hebrews 9:27

Final judgment belongs to Christ alone. CAG’s doctrine replaces His authority with their leader’s control.
